Finally, Canon has published the winning photos of the Canon Photomarathon Malaysia.

The are 2 categories, DSLR and Compact Camera, each of the category has 6 winners,

the Best of Show 1st, 2nd and 3d, and the Best of Theme of the 3 themes, which are Indulge Metropolitan, Mess in Rules and Goes Green.

okay, here are the photos, you guys be the judge.

Canon Photomarathon 2008 Malaysia, photography + slightly marathon.

Organized by Canon. Participants need to submit 3 photos of each themes at the end of the event.

The themes for this year were,

1) Indulge Metropolitan
2) Mess in Rules
3) Goes in Green

my entries,

1)

Indulge, the guy is enjoying taking a photo of a car that is shown on the main entrance of the complex.
That’s the best i can get from this theme.

2)

Rules, they are actually few rules set inside the photo,

i) Red shirts vs 1 small blue shirt child
ii) Red shirts photographers, blue shirt child is the subject

the messiness, one of the red shirt lying down and the subject wonder what happened, the others red shirts were laughing.

however, from the winning photo, looks like i got the them interpreted completed different, which i lol’ed.

3)

My blood is green and my hand grows a vegetable,
that’s it goes green. lol.

seriously, it is way too subjective.. but after looking at the winning photos of these 3 themes, i still lol’ed.

Of course i will update with the Winning Photos selected by the judges. You guys will be the judges then.

Will join again next year ??

Of course, but i will just get a point and shoot canon camera and grab the freebies.. then go back home blow air-cond.

This time, Dave Ming Cheng show me their shopping complex.. wow.. it looks exactly like the one we have on planet Earth, just that it is way smaller..they go for movies too you know..lol

I didn’t bring my D40 with me this time, luckily my cellphone got a tiny camera..

hahaha.. I don’t where he will take me next time..

Dave Ming Cheng invited me to his planet.. they are really small and tiny.. just like in the movie..

They might look like real human, yes they do, but they are really really small..

hmm.. small and tiny right ??

Of course no.. here is how to do it..

get a pic snapped from high area to low area works best.. get those birdeyes’ view kinda photos..
and follow this tutorial..

Hahaha.. finally this amazing event comes to an end. After weeks of seeing fireworks photos in my blog, I think most of you feel dizzy with fireworks always in ur head spinning.. lol..

The Grand Finale was a great show, performed by Team Malaysia and Team Australia (MIFC07 Champion)..

Oh ya.. this result of MIFC 2008 was announced before the show,

Champion - Team Spain
First Runner Up - Team Malaysia

Personally, I think Team Malaysia should win the competition, Malaysia has improved alot from last year.. Malaysia Boleh mah !!
anyway, this even is officially ended, waiting for the next year MIFC, ya !! MIFC 2009 !!
